Riding deer and kissing Gnomes

My sister Katie and her two cute kids are here for the week for a high school reunion, I love when they come because she has the two most hilarious kids in the world. Really, I don't know what we do when they aren't here. Last Sunday we went to my grandma Kettle's house - my grandma loves gardening and she also loves to put fake animals and gnomes into her yard (like many other old people). Well Ava and Miles absolutely love them, from the time we went outside to the time when we went home they were glued to the animals. Ava happens to be in her licking everything stage - here she is licking her favorite deer from my grandma's garden... I'm not sure if she gets licking and kissing confused or if she thinks it might taste good - either way it's pretty gross
Ava also likes to ride everything - this day she rode the deer, a fake turtle and a toy buss. We tried to introduce her to the gnomes but I think they freaked her out.Miles is taking a turn at riding a deer with AvaMy grandma usually has the animals spread out all over her backyard but every time Miles visits, he spends his time collecting all the animals and putting them together - it's really cute. Here are the gnomes, we all think they are hilarious but the kids were really creeped out by the little old bearded men. Miles and his squirrels.
He can't quite pronounce the word squirrels - when he attempts to say it it comes out as "skuels", so he usually refers to squirrels as "the thing I can't say".

Ava was carrying this squirrel around and while petting it would call it "baby".

We love visiting my cute grandma, she is the sweetest lady in the world. Every time we stop over she ends up giving us anything she has - paintings, dolls or food. On Sunday she gave Miles and Ava their own little kid chairs, they thought having their own personal chairs was so cool.
